Oscar Schwartau completed the turnaround for Norwich City, who dealt Millwall a blow to their hopes of automatic promotion from the Championship with a 2-1 win at The Den.

Mihailo Ivanovic had opened the scoring for Millwall, but after Pelle Mattsson and Schwartau scored to push Norwich up to ninth, it leaves the Lions looking over their shoulders, with Middlesbrough just one point behind them.

Norwich set the early rhythm, with Mathias Kvistgaarden sending a tame shot straight at Anthony Patterson before Jack Stacey fizzed a low shot across the face of goal.

Millwall improved after the break, with half-time substitute Ivanovic punishing Norwich's first-half wastefulness by heading in Casper De Norre's cross from close range.

However, the Canaries pulled back level just six minutes later, with Mattsson lashing a powerful shot into the roof of the net after being picked out by Mohamed Toure.

Norwich then turned things around in the 76th minute after a lovely counter-attack, with Toure again the provider after playing a one-two with Schwartau, who curled his low finish past Patterson.

At the other end of the table, 10-man Portsmouth came from behind to draw 2-2 with fellow relegation battlers Oxford United, with Andre Dozzell clawing back a point in the 87th minute.

Millwall have now lost their last two home matches, both after opening the scoring, leaving their automatic promotion hopes on shaky ground.

It is the first time since August that they have lost back-to-back home games, while this is the first time they have lost on Easter Monday since a 1-0 defeat to Tottenham in April 1990 (W6 D6 in between).

Though they had 10 shots, Millwall managed to get just two on target (worth 0.92 expected goals), while Norwich created 2.19 xG from 12 attempts, with five on target.
