'The club hasn't approached me yet' – Dybala unsure on future at Roma
Paulo Dybala's contract at Roma runs out at the end of the season, and the Argentine confirmed he is no closer to agreeing a new deal.
Paulo Dybala revealed that this weekend's Derby della Capitale against Lazio could be his last home appearance for Roma, with talks over a new contract stalling.
Dybala, who joined Roma from Juventus in July 2022, will see his current deal expire at the end of the season, with no discussions currently being held between the parties.
The 32-year-old has made 138 appearances for the Giallorossi in all competitions, scoring 45 goals as well as providing 25 assists for his team-mates.
But Dybala's 2025-26 campaign has been hampered by injuries, limiting him to just 25 matches, having suffered a hamstring issue as well as undergoing knee surgery.
It remains to be seen what the future holds for the Argentine, who wants the situation resolved sooner rather than later, with time running out for a deal to be made.
"The truth is, I'd like to know something myself, but the club hasn't approached me yet," Dybala told Sky Italia.
"The contract says the derby will probably be my last match in front of the Roma fans. We'll see what happens at the end of the season."
Dybala registered an assist during Roma's thrilling 3-2 win over Parma on Sunday, with Donyell Malen's 101st-minute penalty sealing all three points at Stadio Ennio Tardini.
It was a result that moved Roma level on points with AC Milan in the race for Champions League football, with just two games of the season remaining.
The Opta supercomputer has assigned Gian Piero Gasperini's side a 47.2% chance of returning to UEFA's flagship competition for the first time since 2018-19, though their most likely position is fifth (32.7%).
"We've shown the determination and desire we have to secure a place in the Champions League. We know it doesn't depend solely on us, but we'll fight until the end," Dybala added.
